Our social Bowls Events are set to provide a fun way to enjoy some competitive bowls but still enjoy the social atmosphere of the Club.

We cater for all age groups and ability levels and if you don’t have your own bowls you can have a lend of a Club set for no charge.

These events are a great opportunity to learn how to play bowls with experienced players who are keen to pass on their skills and tips on how to play.

We welcome new and experienced players to join us in a relaxed atmosphere. You can enjoy a cold drink from the bar and even a meal before/after the game from the sports club bistro.

Tuesday night

Registration opens 5.30pm for 6.00pm start

Whilst still a very social night of bowls, this would be the most competitive night of social competition. Come along with your bowling partner and enjoy the evening. No partner? No problem! There is always someone else wanting to play. All bowlers get to bowl!

Format: 2-4-2, 14 Ends

Cost: $12.00 per player

To enter: write your name on the appropriate sheet on the Nightcliff Bowls Club notice board. Unable to get to the club to put your name down? Then just arrive at 5.30pm.

Entry is via the Nightcliff Sports Club.

Sunday mornings

Registration opens at 9.30am for 10.00am start

What a great way for both experienced and new bowlers to grow and learn this wonderful game we play. Age is no limit for either the young or the older.

Cost: $12.00 per player

To enter: Arrive at 9.30am to register. If you don’t have a bowls partner, no worries, we will help you with that. Every player gets to play!

Entry is via the side gate of the Sports Club next to the greens.
